“It is Unavailable”
The second of the three limiting beliefs that Marisa Peer talks about is the concept that “It is unavailable”. This is believing that you are unable to achieve what you want to achieve because of a lack of opportunity, or because what you need to have in place is unavailable to you in your current situation.
This type of thinking reminds me of the story portrayed in the movie “Cool Runnings“. This is the story of the Jamaican bobsled team that went to the 1988 Winter Olympics, despite never having been on a bobsled, or even having snow available to practice on.
But what the team DID have was drive. They really wanted to achieve their goal, and they and their coach did whatever they could, despite their circumstances, to make it happen. They came up with creative ways to use their natural talents to overcome the lack of experience and their circumstances.
Sometimes, having a coach in your business can help you to find a way you had never thought of, to overcome the “It is unavailable” limiting belief. Get in touch if you would like to discuss this.
